Animation part

before starting the main animation i create a start for our group

The app interface

After confirm with the color and icon here come the complete interface for the rest of the app


So i can continue to my animation, the progression go bit slow cause less people helping. hmmmm......

The second refine

We decide to change our color into working bee series and do some mode board.  
i prefer to do some research about color because color series is important to attract more user
then i come out wit the 1st
                                                 
The color become more attractive but Kam suggest the logo to be solid color so i had a change again

                                              

I had change the logo into solid color, Kam prefer more yellow and here come another 1

                                           
So we confirm the color , i will continue refining all the app page create by Kam so i can create a short promote animation for the app.

The first refine

This the 1st icon design by come at the 1st
I try to refine the icon to look more fashion or full without using line and change the color.









After refine , the icon make the whole app feel more different. Should be more high class i think.
Kam suggested me to change the color into working bee series so maybe i can try.

basic design

Kam has come out with the basic phone mock-up for the app.


Something missing out in the design especially the logo and icon.
Is trying to refine the icon  and the logo.The color using is really match
for the whole figre.

Change of Idea #THROWBACK

After discuss with Kam, both of us agree with changing our idea into mobile app.
Is an app that help people if they want  to travel Manchester.



This app is going to carry data, gps, voice, maps, translation, accommodation and transport, weather, old and new travel spot, special occasions/festival, the auto-quotation of expenses.

We start doing research after confirm with the change of idea .

Workshop final day #THROWBACK

Lots of thanks to all the lectures from uk, learn many things that i didn't experience in normal classes.
Few more week to go. hope go smooth.

# throwback for 1st day

After settle up with the group, we start together to build up a concept. 5 topic to combine, it make us a little confuse and losing direction.  So we come out with this structure. The 1st analysis from what we research personally before course start.

Please ignore our PM head with torn.

I get some idea from the lectures after they have a look at our research. I choose the word conflict. After  another research, i found out that IRA Bombing at Manchester during 1996. Other than that i also found that Manchester is a state that having festivals all the year.  We came out with the second paper.

The roof represent the history, the trunk is the process, and it came out with beautiful flower or fruit.

Why book?
Manchester like an encyclopedia, when you open the book you can find different kind of culture and knowledge inside. Manchester has museum and gallery that can't found in other country.

So this is the final idea of the day ~~

Mostly is briefing about how the course goes on.

1996 Manchester bombing

• was an attack carried out by the Provisional Irish Republican Army (IRA) on Saturday 15 June 1996.
• The biggest bomb detonated in Great Britain since World War II
• The IRA had sent telephoned warnings about 90 minutes before the bomb detonated
• At least 75,000 people were evacuated from the area, but the bomb squad were unable to defuse the bomb in time. 

Since 1970 the Provisional IRA had been waging a campaign aimed at forcing the British government to negotiate a withdrawal from Northern Ireland. Although Manchester had been the target of IRA bombs before 1996, it had not been subjected to an attack on this scale. In February 1996, the IRA had ended its seventeen-month ceasefire with a similarly largetruck bomb attack on London's Canary Wharf financial district. The Manchester bombing was condemned by the British and Irish governments and US President Bill Clinton. Five days after the blast, the IRA issued a statement in which it claimed responsibility, but regretted causing injury to civilians.

Manchester Jazz Festival

•  is an annual 9-day-long festival focused on showcasing contemporary jazz from the North West of England and beyond.
• was created in 1996 as a one-day showcase and has grown into a 9-day event, with 60 gigs and 300 musicians planned for July 2009.
• The festival's international programme is supported by the Instituto Cervantes Manchester and the Italian Consulate.

Festival of Fantastic Films 

• is an annual non-profit celebration of cinema fantastique, held annually in central Manchester,
• created by Tony Edwards and the late Harry Nadler
• Parklife Festival 
• is an independent music festival held annually in Manchester.

Manchester International Festival 

• is a biennial international arts festival, with a specific focus on original new work, held in the English city of Manchester. 
•  first taking place in June–July 2007, and subsequently recurring in the summers of 2009, 2011, 2013. MIF 17 is due to take place 29 June to 16 July 2017. 
• The organisation is based in Blackfriars House, adjacent to Blackfriars Bridge but is due to move to a new £110 million new home, The Factory, in time for the 2019 festival.
